Azula's Fighting Style

Azula is awesome. She sees what her enemy is about to do and I must say-all the great masters tray to do that(really), she spots the weakness at that moment, and strikes a deadly attack. She is UNBEATABLE.

No, she's beatable...but only if you have ten people fighting her and a tank. Which isn't gonna happen anytime soon...

Katara had Azula on the ropes until Zuko intervened.

pretty sure this has already been posted on this forum somewhere but it has been posted in this thread, even though that they mainly use zuko in it it deals with firebenders (which azula is incase you didnt know ;))

Azula rocks, i love her fighting style, the best thing about her is that she is deadly :)

Yeah deadly definatly describes it.
When she fights she is driven by one of two things. 1. Determination. 2. Sociopathisim.
No Im serious, I think Azula is a sociopath. When she lies and her heart doesnt speed up, that is a sign of being a sociopath.

azulas fighting style is seriously acrobatic, i would probably compare it more to gymnastics/ninja style fighting.

She has a keen eye to spot most mistakes and act on them.

she is an awesome fighter since she has been practicing for years. that must practice would make anyone a good fighter.

She fights by using a water bender technique. She dodges and uses her opponents force against them.

I think Azula's fighting style is the same as most other firebenders, but fiercer and more deadly.

I don't know where people are getting this misinformation/quote from but I corrected it in another thread too. Cha kuen is not 7* Praying Mantis, although Sifu Kisu does implement some 7* in the fight sequences of the firebenders. You will more often seen cha kuen written as cha quan or zha quan, different transliterations, and is very similar to Bak Sil Lum (the main basis of firebending and the forms that you see Azula doing). For Azula's actual fight sequences, the acrobatic maneuvers were pulled from cha kuen.
