Description: Having finally reached Omashu so Aang can learn Earthbending from King Bumi, the kids only come to find the city has been taken by the Fire Nation. Despite all of this, Aang enters the city in search of King Bumi.

This Epi is important as Aang will find out that Bumi will not be his Earth Bending teacher and he will give him the criteria on who will be his Earth Bending teacher be.

It is in this episode that we see Mai. We will also see the very nice and cute Pentapus the secret to the great escape. More of Bumi crazyness. We will see that he is able to earth bend by just using his nose and he can actually escape but according to him he is waiting for the right time.

Well a great episode and great chase scenes on the Omashu Mailing system by Azula and Aang.

yeah.. I love when they fight.. Azula is too... EVILLY CONFIDENT... [that's why... [in later episode] i love how sokka shows her up with his sword O.O i love the expression she has]

anyway... Bumi can bend with his HEAD.. that's awesome and I''m surprised he can't bend metal... maybe he can?

I dont think Bumi could metalbend, because he specifically told Aang he wouldnt teach him because he needed to find someone who listened before striking (Toph), which is something Bumi wouldnt be able to teach him. This very "listening" to the earth and the un-refined earth particles in metal is what enables Toph to metal bend, therefore Bumi would not be able to do it. I think he is just a very strong earthbender.

I think Bumi could have made it even if he didn't wait. That part was a let down to me........
