I love sokka's sword. It is so cool. it is black and made out of a meteorite. I would love to have a sword like that.

I loved the Tokka in this episode. And Katara's attempts at being funny cracked me up. Reminds me of my humor...completey and utterly hopeless. >.<

I found it interesting that because Toph's meteor bracelet is a fusion of metal and earth, she can mold it with her will. I felt like smacking someone when I saw the Nickolodeon sign in the end though...

yeah. sokka really was kinda pointless(besides being the funny guy) until now. now he can fight. with a cool sword.

just a question...do you guys think that the meteor just might possibly be sozin's comet? and that sokka's sword will be used by zuko and aang against ozai? there is a possibility that the sages made a bad estimate and that the comet was thrust to earth.

I doubt it. That comet was only sent to prove to the world that Sokka has low self-esteem when forced to be a lemur babysitter. :-X

possibly, it might be stronger than most swords, but I'm not a scientist so wiki meteorites.

Since it's a metal it could "guide" metal ... but since Sokka is holding the other end of the sword it might very well be a move he can perform only once :P
1.21 gigawatt won't just disappear because there's a bit of dried leather wrapped around the end of the blade ... its direct current so could easily 'jump' into Sokka's hands and flow into the earth (meanwhile killing him ... of course)

Favourite episode of season three so far. Not only do I absolutely adore Sokka and all of his Sokka-y greatness, but this episode is just fantastic. Everything about it is amazing! Character development, mostly on Sokka's part, is definitley a thing to be noted upon. And then the storyline is fascinating, and the animation/music/drawings/writing are all fantastic as well. I love the foreshadowing they tease us with, it gest us thinking and wondering, and definitley keeps us coming back for more! ^^

his sword is awesome...

but honestly... when they're fighting at the end and sokka throws sand in pakku's eyes... then he's listening... they're standing in a clean courtyard and there's ONE stick on the ground... sokka just HAS to step on it!
