I just thought of something
he was only called avatar aang a couple times in the series, and that was from random people he helped

I don't know what to say... It just was a great finale, the best way to end the series. Only thing that I could regret is not havin ursa in the tea shop, would have been slightly better, but on this level, it's really hard to make anything better. Just great

I wished that Zuko actually looking for his mother was more than just "Tell me where my mother is." =T I thought there'd be an episode where she'd pop up. And she did... but she was in Azula's imagination, which was all crazy-like. Sigh. But still, I was extremely satisfied with how it ended. I couldn't have done it any other way.

Azula's probably not dead... They only showed one cell in the prison, and it was Ozai's, and you can't expect them to be sharing. I was sorta disappointed that Nick didn't kill off anyone, at all, but it's Nick, so, whatever. I thought Iroh and Azula would die, and potentially Ozai, but they still did a great job.

Better ending than most anime's, although the fight stuff before was a bit choppy, still, glad the ending is good.

yea it was a really good ending and it makes me sad that its over... i really hate the fact that they still left questions unamswered...like where's zuko's mom and is she alive?? what the heck happened to jet? did he die to? but other than that.... man i just can't believe its over *goes to cry in corner*

also, zuko never created lightning. he only redirected it. I wanted to see zuko make some

i think it would have been so awesome if instead of zuko going to ozais cell, it just showed ozai sitting in his cell meditating with candels around him, and the flames were getting bigger and smaller, to show he was re learning firebending (although it totaly would've been a knock off from x-men 3) and then it would have been like "BOOK 4: Air, coming soon" that would have been the coolest.

i personally liked Aangs outfit at the end kinda shaolin monk sorta thingy...but cool:)
as for the end i felt kinda empty i guess i mean ive watched this for what, over a year now and then it stops kinda feels weird:(

i can't believe it is actually over =(
nicktoons showed it twice today, its on chapter 20 right now of the 2nd showing.

there are so many questions that havent been answered yet a spin off or like an epilogue type special would be appreciated like an episode 10 years in the future or w/e

edit: Aang should have redirected the lightning at ozai

OMG THANK YOU!!!!!! ppl say that the last ten minutes was cool and all this stuff (dont get me wrong i luvd the eppi) but the end was soooo scattered! like nothing fit together!!!!! zuko doin something over here, aang and everybody's just kinda standin around laughin. well what about what they're gonna do now that the war is over!?! like..not go into months stories or anything but just, at least have the characters say what they're gonna do. like Iroh did. dude....um blueninja right?....you were reading my mind..

oh yeah and this person above me is soo rite. aang shouldve directed it...that was such a disappointment to me. at least shoot Ozai or something! *sigh*

in the play though Kaji, they said (sokka) "it is kind of a mystery" or something like that. I guess they didnt know, they never stuck around to see the results. Another cliffhanger that shouldve been answered

I think Zuko should've been able to make lightning by the end of the series... During the Azula fight would've been a great time. I mean, he resolved his issues, shouldn't he be able to make it since his heart is pure?

what i don't get how it took an entire season to half way around the world, but now they can pretty much pull off the same distances in less than 3 days.

Just finished seeing it... and I have mixed feeling over this.

*AHEM*

Sozinho was right about what was said way earlier about Azula being mentally unstable. That was just pathetic. She was lying on the ground like a 5 year old girl screaming and crying. After all she did, I just thought she'd have a perfect finale.

The whole "reuniting with the avatars" thing was kinda nice, I think we all needed that as a recap or to reassure us of what the Avatar really is. At least, that's what it did to me, lol and I love that Kyoshi part, my fave.

Ozai, as well.......... SHOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED. I don't care about the blah blah blah that you say. Characters have been killed before, so why not Ozai? More drama. The whole "taking away your firebending" is a pure lame excuse to not kill him and for Aang to remain hippie. I guess it's just so the kiddies can be happy, this also wasn't a good way to end it with Ozai and his poor character. Just plain weird...

Also, I'm glad that we finally know what the White Lotus Club is seeing as how we talked so much about it, seeing all those old masters was just plain amazing.

I will give it a major plus for the animation and the bending action, there wasn't anything else I wanted but that, everything in bending was there. The avatar state part is a moment to remember, him having all his elements and kicking butt, something I only wished and it came true! haha... not to mention the wicked move Katara did to Azula, seriously, what was that?! PURE OWNAGE!!!

Ending on a good note... I liked Zuko become Fire Lord, it's what he deserves... Aang looked like a real Monk with those robes and that Kataangy goodness at the end was okay... it was kinda like, a movie perhaps? The world is restored and it ends with a kiss of the hero and the girl. Meh.. whatever...

I pretty much agree with you a hundred percent, well almost all the way, but I had really hoped Zuko would end up with Katara, but he was taken by Mei. Ozai should have died all right! As for Azula *shivers* I think she's beyond mental in this episode, especially how she looked when Katara chained her down (and as you say, that was pure OWNAGE!)

and I don't like this shipping thing, it's pretty obvious from the start and the signs that Katara was going to be with Aang, it's nice destiny and I don't mind. I suppose it makes the viewers happy, then okay...

And well, Zuko does love Mai, so they're all happy at the end...

they need to make a toph series..honestly she's the best character.. blind lil girl that can bend metal into a suit of armour (tony Stark prob mad right now lol)..her battle scene shut it down
