"You were saying something else, then stuttered and changed it, as dead on sign of someone lying. If you were going to try to give a fake name, you could have at least thought of it before you introduced yourself," Shai Tan said as the girl turned to leave. However, she shifted her weight to one foot and kept spinning.

Shai Tan almost sighed as her foot snapped up into a kick. He crouched down slightly, flexed his left arm (again assuming that she used her right to kick) and then once her foot had made contact with his bicep, he snapped his forearm up, trapping her foot in his grip. He stood straight once more, stretching the woman's foot into the air. Depending on how flexible she is, this could be a very uncomfortable situation.

"Don't try to hit me. You'll only die," he muttered before releasing her leg with a shove.

Azula shook her head and sighed.
"no wonder I always liked working alone..." she muttered to herself.

turning to them, she crossed her arms.
"I hope I made my intentions clear," she said calmly, "but if you two wish to flirt in such a violent way, then I suppose that my presence is no longer needed here."

She did not assume they would suddenly cease their activities jsut because of what she said. nevertheless, she began walking away.

Narrowing his eyes as he briefly considered turning the girl inside out, Shai Tan turned and followed Azula away from the woman. He hated people.

"How do you intend to get to Omashu?" he asked, changing the "we" to "you" once more.

"I have my ways," Azula replied gently, though whether or not she was just trying to sidestep the question was still in the air.

"and you?"

Although the position was sightly uncomfortable, Yana could handle it. Shai Tan's cold glare and threats seemed to chill Yana's body, but it was only for a second. She was stunned however by Shai Tan's swift moements that ended up the uncomfortable situation. He let her go and ran after the woman. 'She thought we were violently flirting! Stupid woman' Yana thought, as her leg was returned to a more natural position. He started to walk away, soemthing which Yanako did not like. A bucket beside her seemed the best way to get his attention back, she scooped it up in one hand and threw it towards Shai Tan.

" DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM ME SHAI TAN" She yelled, immediatly covering her mouth, she didn't want to say his name, he hadn't told it her and personally she thought that she hated him. Her cheeks turned red and she turned from facing him.

"How do you intend to get to Omashu?" he asked,

I have my ways," Azula replied gently, though whether or not she was just trying to sidestep the question was still in the air.

Yana's ears pricked up, they were going to Omashu. She turned back to them, they were at the end of the alley. "Um, Omashu, is that where you going, would you mind me tagging along, I have... I have friends there that I would like to visit." Yana was telling most of the truth, but these friends were not what is traditionally defined as 'friends'

"I was planning on riding my eelhound," he replied. There might be room on the back of the saddle, if she were to ask, but otherwise he would leave her to her own devices to reach the city.

The woman behind him shouted out and it sounded like she had thrown something. Shai Tan spun around and, sure enough, she had launched a regretfully empty bucket at him. Sinking into one of the more solid stances of Tai Chi, Shai Tan snapped his hand up to deflect the rather unwieldy projectile. "Can't you tell when you have been dismissed?" he asked, his voice crooning as though speaking to an obstinate child.

"Um, Omashu, is that where you going? Would you mind me tagging along, I have... I have friends there that I would like to visit," the woman had the nerve to ask. Shai Tan glanced over at Azula. "Under two conditions," he said. "First, you refrain from any further displays of ignorance. Second, you tell us your name."

[Nev]

"Dismissed, how dare you treat me like a cheap whore" Yana replied, she was happy with the second condition, but him saying she was Dismissed. She marched up to him, her face red with anger. "Next time you address me you can call me Yanako, but get this into your thick skull. I am no whore or weakling, I could beat you into a pulp. If you ever 'dismiss' me again, you should keep one eye open when you sleep." Yana was inches away from his face when she finished, the rage dispersed and she returned to her original height (after being on her tip toes). Yana looked to the woman next to him.

"Whats your name then, I didn't get it before" Yana asked, a slight slither of spite [^_^ alliteration]. She had concerns about this girl, but was more annoyed with Shai Tan. She moed passed him 'accidently' bumping into him. It was a schoolyard thin to do but Shai Tan was just stinking of smugness.

Throughout the girl's tirade, Shai Tan merely smirked. He did not say a word, but just watched as the girl shouted and yelled. She's not even worth killing, he thought as she threatened him to keep "one eye open when he sleeps." Little did she know, but he had been doing so since he was twelve, and quite successfully, too.

He accepted the slight bump as a lesser trying to intimidate her superior and so said nothing as she spoke to Azula. Perhaps he would enjoy killing this one.

Azula shook her head.

"I've stated my name at least twice before," she replied, "so listen carefully this time.
My name is Azula. Azula Felicia Caroso. What you choose to address me by is up to you, but I answer to 'Azula' or 'Felicia'.
Now, if this clears things up, I would raelly like it if you two either stopped fighting, or found someone else to tell you what else she knows about the war."

Azula always had more to tell about the war. After all, giving a child all of the candy at once was not nearly as rewarding as giving it to them piece by piece. you could get more out of them that way.

Shai Tan shrugged and began walking towards the stable where his mount was housed, waiting for him.

"Shall we be off, then?" he asked over his shoulder. He did want Azula to come with him, she seemed competent enough and able to handle herself in a fight, but Yarako seemed to be more of a detriment to efficiency. She could obviously not hold back her temper and her tongue was often running far ahead of her thoughts. Oh well. The sooner she dies, the happier I'll be, he thought as he pulled open the door to the stall that his eelhound was housed in.

He leaped into the saddle and patted the creature's neck. He guided her out of the barn and a few steps towards Azula, pointedly staying away from the boisterous Yara.

"SO how're we getting there?" Yana asked while Shai Tan came back with his eelhound. Her eye's were fixated on it, despite travelling she had never seen one before, looke dup to Shai tan and then Back to Azula. "I'm not as posh as Shai Tan here so how'd you suppose I join in with the journey, I can't run THAT fast" She replied, wondering if Shai Tan would invite her onto the Hound or if Azula had anything to travel in.

[hmm... what to give Azula...]

"I was ready several minutes ago, Shai Tan," she replied coolly, "but aye, I suppose we should."

she paused, glancing at Yana.
"I probably can think of something," she said, "praticularly something that keeps you two apart."

'What the hell is she saying, It's not like we're children, he's the person that calls ME names' She thought, her eye's staring at Shai Tan. Azula was right though, she would prefer to keep away from the man, he seemed to have an intent to see Yana dead.

"Yes, I would prefer to stay away from him, he may try and take advantage of being alone", another sharp stab at him, it was worth it.

"well..." Azula smirked, "as long as you want easy information regarding the war, be it facts, rumors, legends, or current events... stick with me.
and unfortunately, if you both want it, that means we'll all be one big happy family."

she chuckled.
"that aside though, as long as you two stop your arguing, I'll be willing to put up with you."

Azula's slight streak of arrogance was showing. She was fine with their company, but if they left, she would, not feel hurt by any means.
"anyways, I'll be right back."

Azula darted into an alleyway and out of sight.

She returned riding a mongoose dragon, which became the obvious reason why she needed to "be right back".
"and now we should be off if we don't want to get left behind. That's all I have to say aobut the matter."

Yana stared at the other strange creature, a wide grin spread across her face. She clapped her hands together and kept them there. She loved animals, whether it was a FoxRhino or a Kangeroocat, she loved it. Her excitement could easily be seen and soon she was petting the Mongoose Dragons skin, it was furry yet scaly. She looked to Azula.

"Can I get on it?" She asked, her grin still plastered across the flawless face. She looked back towards the creature again and stroked it once more, she then remembered Shai Tan. "It's much better than a common eelhound" Another remark towards Shai Tan, after a slight menacing grin she turned back to Azula. "So can I ?"

Azula chuckled.
"well," she said, "I figured that unless you wanted to be left behind..."

she paused, only for effect.
"Aye," she replied, "hop on."

Yana immediatly clambered on, the saddle was quite comfortable aswell. She made room for Azula to sit.

"So does this thing go fast" Yana asked, hoping that it went faster than Shai Tan's mount, she gripped the edge of the saddle behind her. "So what route are we taking?" She knew how to get Omashu many ways but wondered if Azula did. Yana was also intrigued with knowing more about the war, it seemed something profitable to know.

"Naturally," said Azula, "I planned to take the quickest route there. the less time spent travelling, the more we can figure out."

she flipped herself onto her mount and took the reins.

"and aye," she smirked,"it goes quite fast. you might want to hold on."

Shai Tan rolled his eyes at her continuing juvenile remarks. He said nothing as the pair clambered onto the Mongoose dragon and then took off after them, his eel hound pretty easily pacing the other beast.

As he rode, thoughts spun through his head about the war and he tried to fit various pieces of information that he knew to be true together so that they fit snugly. It was no easy task.

Riyu clambered around the unfamiliar surroundings, cursing that she'd even gone with the boy. Well, you learn from your mistakes she thought. She heard a pair of animals footseps ahead. Why don't i have an animal to travel on she thought angrily. stumbling onto the path she saw the people from before, Shai Tan and Azula and a new face.
"Oh, hello... again." Riyu mumbled picking a small twig out of her hair. "ON your way to Omashu i'm guessing?"

"indeed we are," Azula replied, "and if you wish to accompany us, I suggest you begin making your way now."

with that, and a pull of her reigns, she took off, assuming Shai tan would be ebhind him.

the road to Omashu was neither very far from where they were, nor was it very eventful. If anything, this ride would be about 2 hours tops of just riding.

[OOC- if anyone wants to make something happen on the road, go for it. I was just going to assume it was uneventful.]

"Great, I had hoped that they had been eaten by some sort of beast in the woods," Shai Tan muttered under his breath.

The whole trip, Shai Tan was reviewing and pondering what he knew that he knew about the war and trying contemplating what he might know about it. This Azula girl seemed to know much about the war, almost too much, so he figured that he should stay near her as a valuable source of information.

After a couple hours of riding, Omashu finally appeared before them, in all of its grandeur.

Azuka's face did not change when the city came into view.

"Folks," she announced, though she was merely stating the obvious, "Welcome to Omashu."

she waited only a second before she continued.
"I am neither here to be your guide, nor to give you directions to any particular place, but of course, I figured that neither of you wanted that. I will, however, be here to answer any questions you might have regarding the war, if I myself know them. You can find out a lot if you know where to go--and sometimes if you think a place sounds like a place where you'd hear war-talk, it might actually be one."

[[I just noticed that poor Shai Tan gets stuck in situations like this far too often. Traveling about with two females with no concrete goal in mind. Poor guy.]]

Shai Tan followed Azula through the gates of Omashu. His eyes immediately flashed back and forth, automatically searching for any sort of threat. He was not being paranoid, that is just the way that he had survived for as long as he has.

He would have to check on a few of his contacts here, last her had heard, most of them were still alive. Maybe he would leave the two girls to their own devices while he searched about. He began to tick off places in his mind where he would find his contacts and figure out which one of them he would visit first.

"Azula, what are you planning on doing here? I have some business to attend to, so I will have to leave you for a while. Should I need to, where will I be able to find you?" Despite being fairly confident that he could find her on his own, especially in a city the size of Omashu, he decided that a little bit of foreknowledge might become very useful.

[bahahaha.... that's a good point. Katara on the other hand, gets pulled into some wacky adventure against her will, and it usually alters part of her character.]

[and crap... there's not really any canonical "landmark" places that I can picture her being... hmm...]

Azula's eyes darted this way and that before she was "interrupted" by Shai Tan.

"Me?" she asked, "I plan mostly on checking on the condition of things around here--I will mostly be lurking in the shadows of town, as that's where all the unusual tuff happens--no one is going to do something weird out in the open, of course.
Therefore, you will be able to find me likely in some of the back alleys. Where might you be, should I need to look for you?"
