Green

Green is awkward, new, not dull
Chartreuse and naive, always alive.

Green is untrained, bound to bother you,
With it's unseasoned nature.

Green is the opposite of old,
Young innocent eyes, be careful not to be tricked.

Green is jealous and sly,
Ready to sneak it's way past you.

Green can creep into your mind,
Partner to trouble.

Green is vibrant and new,
It will sweep you away.

one day i will find

the tortures of everyday life.
the pain right now is cutting through like a knife
but one day the sunshine will be here
that one thing that I can hold dear
this thing i am envisioning is too far to touch
